Your Responsibilities

Are you a handy person who enjoys practical outdoor work? Are you meticulous, engaged, and not afraid to get your hands dirty? Then you might be the one we are looking for! We are looking for a field installer for our client DHI Sweden AB, who wants to make a difference in flow measurement work in sewer networks.

What does the job entail?

As a field installer, you will have an independent and flexible job where you are responsible for:

Installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of measurement equipment in sewer manholes, stormwater manholes, pump stations, and other water environments.
Maintenance and quality assurance of equipment when you are not in the field.
Documentation and reporting of measurements on a computer.

The position involves a lot of travel and overnight stays in hotels. The peak season at DHI Sweden AB is during spring, summer, and autumn. During this period, you will be in various locations, mainly in southern and central Sweden, but trips further north and to Norway and Denmark may also occur. The standard is to start the week at the office in Växjö and then go on assignments with at least one colleague. Often, the week ends in Växjö, but this can vary depending on the scope of the assignments and the location you are working at. Given this arrangement, days in the field can be long, but in compensation, you can leave earlier another day.

The position is long-term and is desired to start as soon as possible after agreement. It is a permanent position directly with DHI Sweden AB, starting with a probationary period.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is practical, meticulous, and can take responsibility. As a person, you have a positive attitude and enjoy working outdoors in various environments. You are easy to collaborate with and take your work seriously. You have a B driver's license and are flexible about being away from home for a few days in a row. We would like you to have some form of practical education or previous experience, as well as basic computer skills. However, our focus is on your personality! You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Training regarding work methods, safety, etc., will take place on-site at DHI once your employment has started. If you have experience with electronics and/or measuring equipment, this is an advantage, but not a requirement. It is also beneficial if you can speak English.
